We post minutes to our Meeting Minutes sub-page as soon as they are approved, usually at the following meeting. The page also includes the MRC's complete historical record -- the minutes of every meeting since our founding in 1999. Please see our Meeting Minutes page for a list of Speakers and Programs that will serve as a key to locating particular reports in our minutes.
Island County Commissioners established the MRC in 1999 with resolutions outlining our Operations and Bylaws. The MRC Documents sub-page includes these resolutions and other documents, such as our Strategic Plan, which outlines our vision, mission, objectives and action plan.
We and the six other MRCs of northern Puget Sound comprise the Northwest Straits Commission, authorized by federal, Congressional legislation. Please see the NWSC Documents sub-page for this legislation and for other documents relating to the work of our parent organization.
Our Links sub-page provides quick connections to the websites of the NWSC and our six companion MRCs in northern Puget Sound, as well as links to many organizations with which we work closely in Island County and the surrounding area.
