Education and Outreach
An essential part of our mission is education and outreach. Area organizations interested in inviting a speaker from the MRC to appear at their meetings may contact County Lead, Don Meehan, for information at 360-679-7327. We also invite outside speakers to present educational programs on marine topics at our meetings, and we publicize upcoming programs in our press releases. Our activities and programs frequently are the topics of articles published in area newspapers. We also share on this Web site articles of particular interest about Puget Sound and the Northwest Straits.
