MRC Terms of Appointment
From Island County Resolution C-79-99: Resolution Establishing Operations and Procedures
"There shall be a total of 13 voting members on the Marine Resources Committee during the first year of operation. Following that initial period the members of the MRC may petition the Island County Board of Commissioners to have more seats to better insure adequate representation to achieve the work plan of the MRC. Within the 13 members, there shall be three from each commissioner district, one from WSU Extension, and the remaining three being selected from nominees by the three commissioners together. A committee member shall serve no longer than a period of three terms consecutively."
- Angie Homola, ex-officio, represents Island County Commissioners. Term started 1-1-2011 and ends 12-31-2011. Position rotates annually among the three county commissioners.

- Timothy Lawrence, county lead and MRC treasurer, represents WSU Extension. Term started 2010 and continues indefinitely in his capacity as county lead.
- Marshall Bronson, represents Port of Coupeville, 1st term started 1-1-2011 and ends 12-31-2012.
- Lenny Corin, represents recreation. 1st term started 1-1-2009 and ends 12-31-2011. 2nd term starts 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Maribeth Crandell, represents environmental education, 1st term started 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Leal Dickson, represents marine science. 1st term started 1-1-2009 and ended 12-31-2011. 2nd term started 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Joe Hillers, represents agriculture. 2nd term started 1-1-2009 and ends 12-31-2011. 3rd term starts 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Ian Jefferds, represents commercial marine interests. 3rd term started 1-1-2011 and ends 12-31-2013.
- Chris Jerome, represents Port of S. Whidbey. 1st term started 1-1-2010 and ends 12-31-2012.
- Linda Rhodes, represents marine science. 1st term started 1-1-2010 and ends 12-31-2012.
- Dick Toft, represents US Navy interests and recreational fishing. 2nd term started 1-1-2009 and ends 12-31-2011. 3rd term starts 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Ken Urstad, represents sport fishing. 2nd term started 1-1-2009 and ends 12-31-2011. 3rd term starts 1-1-2012 and ends 12-31-2014.
- Stan Walsh, represents Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe and Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. 1st term started 1-1-2010 and ends 12-31-2012.
- Frances Wood, represents Whidbey Audubon Society and the Pigeon Guillemot project. 2nd term started 1-1-2011 and ends 12-31-2013.
- Todd Zackey, represents Tulalip Tribes. 1st term started 1-1-2010 and ends 12-31-2012.
